Job Overview and Responsibilities

Westbow is looking for a People and Culture Assistant to help with hiring and the day to day needs of the department. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating great employee experiences and helping find good talent for a growing company.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Drafting postings and job descriptions
  • Screening resumes
  • Conducting pre-screen calls
  • Maintaining and improving hiring trackers
  • Assisting with current projects
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding
  • Performing day to day administrative tasks
  • Assisting with interviews
  • Supporting People and Culture initiatives
  • Building relationships and trust with the Westbow team
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A degree in Human Resources or business is considered an asset
  • Previous recruiting experience is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
